Dear Franco04 Hing,
Your plan is practicable. As to 又細又靚聲o既前置 and for your reference, I have been using ProAc Tablette for 11 years. It's a sort of bookshelf speakers with rational performance, and I place them on a pair of Foundation "Designer" speaker stands (4 columns).
In playing classics/jazz/female vocals, I connect them to my valve pre-amp + power amp. (2-channels) and the result is truly lively, sweet, musical and humane.
As front left & right speakers in my 5.1 system mainly to playback movies, I connect them to Yamaha AV amp. The only drawback is that ProAc is not initially designed for AV purpose, so the bass is not so enough in both quantity and quality. To redress this issue, I use Velodyne subwoofer which is of good quality.
As an alternative, I would like to recommend Highland "SEIS" speakers. Though the size is very small, its performance is quite incredible and encouraging. You may browse the wepage www.highland-audio.com and the local dealer is "AV Hospital" where you can take a look and listen to it. The price for 1 pr of front spk. + 1 pr of rear spk. + 1 centre spk is a bit more than 10 thousands. |
